A big thank you to wonderful Tracey Ricchini, Junior Librarian of Methodist Ladies College (pictured above wrapped up in my dragon!) and the gorgeous Grade 6 Ladies and Book Bugs who made me so welcome again today! Here are five MLC Book Bugs who just LOVE books and reading! Remember to keep on reading lots and lots of books to feed your fabulous brains, and remember to enter my Clever Competition!

  1. Yay! Here is one of those book bugs replying! I loved your talk and you have persuaded me to keep a diary now! Thank you so much!
(BTW: I am the girl with the dragon around her neck)
    Love your books!
    Love from,
    Grade 6 MLC bookbug!

    • Helloooo BookBug! I’m so glad you’re going to keep a diary – good on you! It’s a great way to find your writing voice – and to build up a store of writing you can use in future – well done you! I’m glad you love my books – thanks for writing!

  2. I wish you could visit more often! So sad I’m in high school next year, I won’t be able to see you! I always enjoy your sessions and wish we could fill our school days with your sessions because we learn a lot more useful and interesting stuff;)! Much better than fractions and spelling! ;P
I bought three of your books! Sybil Snake for me, A Dirty Story for my brother and The Tale of Chester Choi for my other brother!
Keep being amazing, though I doubt you could ever STOP being amazing!
    Best wishes,
    One of your many fans,
    MLC student,

    • Hello Charlotte – it’s lovely to hear from you and I’m very flattered by your kind comments! I thought the ladies of MLC were pretty amazing too! I hope very much that you enjoy Sybil Snake – she’s a special favourite of mine, I must say. When I come to MLC next year, make sure you drop by to say hello!
