A big hello again to all you lovely BHS kids who are obeying your solemn vows today to visit my website! Well done, you shall not instantaneously explode!!! I had such fun today – I really enjoyed sharing my love of poetry with the Grade 4s in our Poetry Workshop , and exploring how you publish books from Brilliant Idea to Final Product with Grades 5 and 6! Then I had a ball with Grades 2 and 3 introducing them to my beautiful, mysterious and sneaky Sybil Snake! Keep on reading lots of books and writing lots of poems and stories!

  1. See You Soon Sarah
    I like your books especial

    • I like your books especially Pin Yin Panda because the character looks funny and I like the 12 Zodiac stickers. I scared a bit of Sybil Snake because the Sybil became a Princess and then hypnotized everyone in China.

      • Hi Adrian – it’s great to hear from you and I’m glad you like Pin Yin Panda! She’s a very funny panda, that one! Sybil is a bit scary, isn’t she? But she does love her husband and son too…she just wants it all, just like a lot of us do!

    • Thank you Adrian!

  2. I loved your talk on publishing a book. The cutting and stapling part was the most funny part!

  3. Hi. I love your books! Thank you so much for coming to our school. I really really want to be an author now! Thank you so much!!!! :)! (Right after your talk I went to the library and borrowed your books.) (:

    • Thanks Azara – I’m so glad you want to be an author. Being a writer is just fantastic! Make sure you read lots and lots of books as they’ll give you the words you’ll need to become a great author!

      • I will. You inspired me to be one! 😀
