A big thank you to the lovely mums and dads who sent in these lovely pictures of some of our Great Year of the Rat Challenge 2020 winners! From top left, clockwise, we have Yvonne Yang, winner of the Year 1 to 3 Category,  and Dhairya Haria, winner of the Year 4 to 6 Category, holding their Boxed Sets of the Chinese Calendar Tales. Then some lucky Prize Draw winners, Charis Chan with her dad Andrew, Maisy and Mavis Leung, with their signed copies of The Tale of Run Run Rat and beautiful Asia Society Hong Kong publication Once in A Life: Encounters with Nara.  I hope you enjoy them!

A big HELLO to my friends at the International School of Panama: Director Ms. Viki Stiebert and Franco, Renzo and Leire Cobo, three of my lovely fans who have been keeping their collection of Chinese Calendar Tales up to date ever since they went home to Panama after living in Hong Kong! The Cobo family have very generously donated a complete Boxed Set of my Calendar Tales to their school – and Ms Stiebert has very kindly invited me to come and visit should I ever be in the vicinity! Thank you, Ms Stiebert, I will most certainly try to visit you all one day! And thank you, Franco, Renzo and Leire and dad Luis for keeping in touch! Espero verte pronto!

Many thanks to Tim Jarvis and Anne Fagan of Fullers Bookshop for hosting a story reading at their fabulous Collins Street store in Hobart on Saturday morning, 9th March! We had a small but quality audience of kids who expertly danced the Dance of the Seven Veils alongside Ping Pong Pig as she charmed the mighty Yongle Emperor in The Tale of Ping Pong Pig, and they left with some fun colouring-in sheets of characters from the book drawn by Harry Harrison! I look forward to seeing you all again soon!
