Thanks for a terrific day today at Discovery Bay International School!! It was so good to see you all again – and I had great fun introducing you to my Practically Perfect Panda! I’ll upload some photos soon – but in the meantime, get writing panda poems for my Clever Competition! And a big thank you to the lovely Kate Basford, librarian extraordinaire, for her always warm welcome and great organisation!

Pin Yin Panda races into International Montessori School Hong Kong!

It was fun and frolics at IMS Hong Kong today when I met the primary school kids and their dedicated teachers for four fabulous reading sessions! Special thanks to co-founder Karin Ann, Primary Principal Nicolette Correy, and curriculum director Lynsey Gagie for managing such a great day, the lovely Anne with an “E” who looked after me and fed me a delicious lunch, the courageous Miss Pam Moseley (who may or may not be eaten by a dragon tonight!) and especially the kids for their terrific letters, drawings, and questions! Enter my Clever Competition…NOW….or my dragon will eat you too!

The Shanghai International Literary Festival was BUZZING!

Wow – what a wonderful weekend I just had at the Shanghai International Literary Festival! We started off with my reading session with Pin Yin Panda at 10am on Saturday – it was chockablock with fabulous kids and their even more fabulous mums and dads! Then I had the great pleasure of meeting other writers from around the world, hearing their stories and of course, spending time in the gorgeous setting of M on the Bund! Pin Yin Panda felt quite at home in such a famous, glamorous crowd!!

Two fabulous days at Dulwich DUCKS and WISS in Shanghai!

Hello all you muddy DUCKS and Western International School writers! Thanks so much for having me on Thursday and Friday last week – it was great fun to introduce you to the fantastically beautiful, talented, world famous and modest Pin Yin Panda!
