The Tale of a Dark Horse gallops off to an early start in Australia!

The sun was shining, the Chinese lanterns glowed, and the kids opened lai see packets and rode ponies after the very first launch and story-telling of my Tale of a Dark Horse at the Secret Garden Bookshop on Mt Tamborine in Queensland today! There was even a real live Dark Horse to enjoy the occasion! Many thanks to the lovely Janene Gardner and Mary Marks (first picture above) for hosting a fabulous event!

Sybil Snake slithers into Banyan House this Sssssunday!

Sunday is going to be one more Fun Day on Lamma Island here in Hong Kong for kids who love Snakes! I’m going to be reading The Tale of Sybil Snake, with cakes and drinks included, and it’s all FREE! Come along and join the fun – here are all the details:
