HAPPY NEW YEAR – AND GET WRITING!
January 5, 2011 at 12:30 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentHello again everyone! How was YOUR Christmas? Was it more AWESOME than AWESOME? Was it COOLER than COOL? In that case you need a wicked new word to describe it! Go to my Wicked Word for the Week NOW to find a brand new word for a brand new year!
But if your Christmas was just that little bit weird this year…maybe an alien from the planet Zorg came to stay, or maybe Father Christmas got the presents all wrong and you got a Cuban cigar while your Dad got a Nintendo playstation, or maybe the Christmas turkey came alive on the dinner table and started singing Christmas carols in ancient Greek, or maybe your Grandma danced the Highland fling in a pink tutu…
or maybe it was just that bit boring and you wish something really DIFFERENT had happened this time…
then it’s time you put pen to paper and entered my Most Unusual Christmas Story competition! See my competitions page above for all the details. You’ve got till the end of the month!
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Magnanimous New Year!
December 22, 2010 at 10:58 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentNow here is a truly MAGNANIMOUS man! And if you don’t know what that wonderful word means yet, go to my Wicked Word page right now for my last Wicked Word for the year!
It’s time for me to sign off now for Christmas – the tree is up and twinkling, but there are still mince pies to make, presents to wrap, stockings to put out for Santa, cards to write, friends to visit, LOTS of yummy food to cook and best of all, precious time to spend with my beautiful daughters, my wonderful husband and my very special cocker spaniel Bobby!
So a very happy festive season to all my fabulous friends and fans – I look forward to many happy visits to see you all next year! And remember, if you’ve got time on your hands, there’s a fabulous story to write for my Most Unusual Christmas Story Competition!!
I’ll be back and blogging in the New Year! Merry Christmas!
