My darling Dad, John Dermod Brennan, passed away peacefully this morning, and my family and I are flying down to Brisbane to be with my mum and brother and sisters for the funeral. So we’re postponing the launch of Rickshaw Rooster for the moment. Here is my Dad smiling at me at one of the places he loved – Paradise Point in Queensland where he and my mum used to buy fish and chips and watch the pelicans. He was 90 in September and he lived a very full and interesting life. One day I hope to tell you more about him. Please spare a thought and a prayer for him on his next great journey.
A very merry Christmas to you all – and a special treat!

What a wonderful lot of Horribly Hilarious Halloween stories I’ve received from you all! I’m judging the competition now…but I’ve got a VERY busy week ahead of me, with three school visits and two Christmas Fairs in just six days, so please have patience while I get the judging finished, and I’ll post the results as soon as I possibly can!
