Congratulations to all those clever contestants who entered my Practically Perfect Panda Poem competition this term! There were 175 entries from 25 schools from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Suzhou, Singapore, Sydney, Taiwan and the United Kingdom! And extra-special congratulations to the first prize winners in the two age groups: Kaitlyn Leung of Grade 3 Renaissance College Hong Kong for her perfectly rhyming poem “Pandas, Pandas Here You Are”  and Anna K. Gould of Grade 6, Kennedy School Hong Kong for her outstanding free verse poem “Peace of the Panda”! Go to my Clever Competitions page right away to read all the winning entries!

It was all go at Yew Chung International Primary School today when Pin Yin Panda and I visited the Grade 4s, 5s and 6s for some rambunctious readings!! What with hens’ teeth all over the place, drowned pandas and leaping pigs, there were lots of giggles all round! I look forward to all your Clever Competition entries!
